The maximum grant amount for animal health and welfare remains at £25,000. We have increased the maximum grant amounts for productivity and slurry, so you can now apply for up to £50,000 for each of these themes. New for 2024, the fund is now split into 3 separate grants: productivity, slurry and animal health and welfare equipment. the actual cost you pay for the item – if an item costs you less than the expected average cost on the item list.the average cost of the item – if an item costs you the same or more than the expected average cost on the item lists.
For many items, this percentage is an increase on last year. We will pay a percentage of the cost depending on the item.
